Hot Rod Technologies was formed in 2011 when friend’s Ruedi Bartholdi & Jim Punter saw the opportunity for a ‘one stop’ Hod Rod shop in West London.
Jim has spent 40 years at the top of the paint & bodywork industry, he has worked on countless interesting projects & racecars and has an eclectic collection of his own cars.
Ruedi’s passion started at the age of 9 when his dad took him to the first ever drag race meeting at Santa Pod in 1966, this was followed by many trips to the country’s racetracks watching the Mustangs & Camaros battle it out in the Trans Am series.
Ruedi’s first serious car a 1938 Ford won top 10 at the nationals first time out. He began circuit racing in the late 90’s driving Corvettes and Camaros & has spent a lifetime of owning and building all manner of vehicles.
Chris Howie the head fabricator has spent the last 30 years as a metal fabricator both in his native New Zealand and here in the UK, having worked under some of the very best names in the industry he is a key member of the team.
Jake Cutts comes with a degree background and a passion for Porsches and drives a very tidy 944.
We also have a very experienced crew of painters & specialists in every aspect of vehicle restoration on hand.
